DUNC Attempt Longest Ever Netball Match

  Durham University Netball Club have taken on the mammoth task of playing a 72 hour long fundraising netball match in order to break the Guinness world record for the longest ever netball match. 50% of the money raised will go to Help for Heroes and 25% will be donated to Team Durham’s Zambia project (a non-governmental funded project based upon sport development in Zambia). Sun Shines on Successful Lathallan School Rugby Sevens Tournament

  Hundreds of people from Tayside, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Deeside and further afield came to Lathallan School, Johnshaven for its second Rugby Sevens event on Saturday 28th April 2012. Teams ranging from Moray to Fife competed in three age groups; P7s, Under 16s and Under 18s. The Bingham Cup heads to Manchester

  This weekend Manchester will play host to the The Mark Kendall Bingham Memorial Tournament or the Bingham Cup for short, a gay international rugby union tournament held every two years since 2002. It is the world championship of gay and inclusive rugby and is one of the largest men’s 15-aside rugby union tournaments in the sporting calendar.
